CRNA programs close their application windows far earlier than most nurses expect, usually nine to nineteen months before the first day of class. Miss the date and you wait a full year, because nearly every program admits one cohort annually.
This calendar lists the next application deadline for every program we have verified so far, sorted by date. Each date comes from the program’s own website or admissions office, not from a third-party directory, and the dates were checked on the schools’ sites in October 2026.

Work backward from the start term, not the deadline. A Fall 2027 class with a December 2026 deadline means your references, transcripts, certifications and any required test all need to be done this fall.
Treat every date here as a starting point, not a guarantee. Schools move deadlines, and some post next year’s dates late. The source link in each row goes to the page the date came from. Check it before you build your timeline, and call the program if the cohort year isn’t printed next to the date.
If a program runs rolling admissions, apply at the priority date. Rolling classes fill as qualified applications arrive, and waiting until the final cutoff puts you behind applicants who applied months earlier.
One more pattern worth knowing: most programs open their windows 4 to 9 months before the deadline. If your target school’s next window isn’t posted yet, set a reminder to check the month the last window opened.

CRNA Application Deadline FAQ
When are most CRNA school application deadlines?
Most deadlines fall between November 1 and January 15 for cohorts starting the following fall or the January after that. Summer-start programs tend to close in winter, spring or late summer. Nearly every program admits one cohort per year, so a missed deadline usually means a 12-month wait.
How far in advance should I apply to CRNA school?
Plan on applying 9 to 19 months before your start date. Several programs run even longer leads: Drexel’s December 2026 deadline is for a Spring 2028 start, and South College’s fall 2026 priority window feeds its January 2028 cohort.
Can I still apply for a 2027 CRNA school start?
Yes. As of October 2026, WVU (November 1), DeSales and UW Oshkosh (December 1), CAMC/University of Charleston (December 14), and Mary Baldwin, Edgewood and Marquette (all December 15) are still taking applications for 2027 classes. Several January deadlines, including UT San Antonio, UIW, UT Tyler and Idaho State, also feed Fall 2027 starts.
Do any CRNA schools have rolling admissions?
Yes. Union University, South College and Lincoln Memorial all review applications on a rolling basis with priority dates. With rolling admissions, applying early matters more than the final deadline, because seats go to complete applications as they arrive.
